Classification of Covid-risk Countries

The following risk classification is based on the WHO/PAHO, CARPHA, and CDC models and has been modified accordingly. Several parameters are required in this model, which include population size, number of daily new cases and accumulative daily trend.

Travellers from within any classification must have travelled directly from the country of origin and have been in that country/ territory for at least 21- days prior to arrival. In-transit countries must also be within the same classification.

  • All countries not listed will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis upon directives from the Ministry of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment.
